MONEY KINGS
It's probably good to create cinematic warnings against substance abuse, poverty, and organized crime so people will say to themselves "Wow, I had no idea that being drug addicted, poor, or criminal was so unpleasant! I'll avoid all that now." If you've been craving a plodding morality play where all the characters slide slowly into a despondent quagmire of vice and desperation, here's a film for you. I don't want to give too much away, but if you think happy endings are "unrealistic" and you desire confirmation of your belief that Life Sucks, or you want to scare your teenagers away from drugs, alcohol, crime, and poverty, check it out.
