Web Log Entry #0046, Monday, February 17, 2003: Day 91

Anchorage Sunrise: 8:38am Sunset: 5:50pm High Temp: 21° Low Temp: 14° I didn't know if President's Day was a company holiday. The Calendar of Events on the company Intranet website is still labeled "2002" and has nothing listed. So I showed up for work, hoping for the best. Apparently everyone else wasn't sure, so everyone showed up and nobody wanted to stand out by saying "Hey, it's a holiday! What are we doing here?" So we all worked. It felt wrong to be working on a day when President W wasn't, but I guess there've been a lot of days like that.
